Biography

Alessandra Viotti was born in Biella (Italy, Piedmont).

She is a painter, writer, and has been a member of the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Humanities of Paris since November 2017.
In June 2018 she received the silver medal of this Academy.

She is also a teacher specialised in art education,
creative writing and reading.

From a very young age, she has had a passion for art, literature,
poetry and philosophy.

Training

At 18, she became the favourite pupil of Pippo Pozzi, maitre d'art
(master of art). This inspired meeting with the Italian Novecento artist
and the strong intellectual and artistic ties she forged with him were decisive for her.
It was therefore very naturally in the workshop of Pippo, visited by
the greatest artists, poets and intellectuals of the twentieth century
(among which: Italo Calvino, Carlo Carrà, Felice Casorati, Chagall, Avati, Cesare Pavese, J.P.Sartre, Mario Luzi etc.) that the author would release all her creativity through painting and writing practiced daily.

After obtaining a teacher's degree, she undertook many specialised studies
in pedagogy and didactics,as well as university studies in Arts, Philosophy and Communication.
Very sensitive to the field of childhood, adolescence and school,
she has taught for many years and specialises in creativity applied to art, writing and reading.

Always in love with French culture, she decided, in July 2014, to move to France.
